Toboggan run Kohlschnait
Whether during the day or a romantic evening: tobogganing at Kohlschnait in Bruck an der Großglocknerstraße, about 10 minutes away from Zell am See – Kaprun. You go by foot or by tractor up the illuminated road to Gasthof Kohlschnait. You’ll enjoy great food & regional specialities at Kohlschnait before tobogganing down again. Toboggans are available for hire.

Toboggan run Bramberg/Wildkogel
If you’re not afraid of a short drive, head to Bramberg am Wildkogel. There, the Smaragdbahn takes you up to 2,100 metres, before the longest illuminated toboggan run in the world takes you 14 km downhill. There are refreshment stops both at the start and on the way down to the valley. Toboggans and a discounted ride up the mountain are available at the valley station. There is usually an extended ascent until 18:30 on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Toboggan run Koehlergraben
A perfect toboggan run for the whole family. Not too steep & at a moderate pace, it goes from Schmittental along the Koehlergraben towards Zell am See. In winter, a toboggan bus runs every Tuesday from Zell am See to Schmittental, so you can repeat the tobogganing fun on the 1.5-kilometre-long toboggan run if you still haven’t had enough after one ride.

Tobogganing in Kaprun | Maisiflitzer
Tobogganing fun all year round! Alone or in pairs you can go down the Maiskogel at up to 40km/h on the “Alpine Coaster”. You start from the Maiskogel car park. First the gondola takes you uphill, then you can enjoy 1300 metres of tobogganing fun on the Maisiflitzer.
