Holiday at the lake of Zell am See

You love to be near the water in an accommodation with lake view? Whether lake or sea, cooling off on hot summer days is a must for you? You are bored of the same view of the open sea within a couple of days? Do you want a little more action? A holiday at the lake is the perfect thing for you: you have come to the right place with your holiday at Lake Zell. Lake Zell (one of the purest lakes in Austria) is surrounded by a fantastic mountain backdrop at 750 m above sea level and reaches up to 25 degrees Celsius in summer. This makes it ideal for cooling off on hot summer days.

Enjoy your vacation in one of our apartments or chalets directly at the lake or within walking distance of the lake.

Around the lake of Zell am See

it is exactly 11 kilometers by foot. A great running route, but also worth a walk on foot. With great restaurants & cafes right on the lake, you can easily master the 11 kilometers with a few stops.

You can enjoy the most beautiful view of Lake Zell on the EBENBERGALM or on the MITTERBERG in Thumersbach. You can combine a visit to these restaurants with great hikes. Before you stop at the Ebenbergalm, you can go on a beautiful hike to the Plettsaukopf. From the center of Zell am See it is approx. 500 vertical meters to the Plettsaukopf. 1-1.5 hours uphill, depending on the pace. You’ll be rewarded with a great view! If you want to earn your meal at the Mitterberg, you can first hike up the “Schwalbenwand”. Similar to the Plettsaukopf, you have a fantastic panorama on the Schwalbenwand.
